The apex court said Sisodia must move the trial court or the Delhi high court for the reliefs he was seeking from it.

The deputy chief minister withdrew his petition in compliance with the Supreme Court's directive and proceeded to seek relief from the high court.

“Policy decisions were taken at different rung and no money was recovered,” lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi told the court on behalf of Sisodia.

After nearly eight hours of questioning, Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday in connection with the excise policy scam case as he "gave evasive replies and did not cooperate in the investigation despite being confronted with evidence to the contrary".
