Rajya Sabha panel raps Raghav Chadha, but ends suspension

New Delhi: AAP MP Raghav Chadha was on Monday held guilty by the privileges committee of Rajya Sabha for presenting "misleading facts to the media" and for including the names of members in a proposed select committee without their consent. He was thereafter allowed to attend the House after his suspension, which began on August 11, was brought to an end through a motion passed by the House. The motion said his suspension so far was "sufficient punishment".

Before the motion was moved, RS Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said, "The committee finds Raghav Chadha guilty of both the charges."
