Partners held after businessman pushed off 3rd floor in Delhi, dies

NEW DELHI: A 28-year-old businessman died allegedly after he was pushed off the third floor of his apartment building by three of his business partners over a monetary dispute in Shahdara. The trio fled with cash and jewellery from the victim's house and was arrested later in a raid. They were identified as Satish (36), Heeralal (55) and his son Neetesh (22).

Police were informed about the incident on October 17. The caller told cops that three armed men pushed his relative off the third floor of his house in Balbir Nagar. The deceased was identified as Rohit Jain.

"During the investigation, we raided their hideouts and questioned their family. We got information that they were hiding in a factory in Gandhi Nagar in Shahdara. A raid was conducted and the accused were nabbed," deputy commissioner of police (Shahdara) Rohit Meena said.

On the day of the incident, there was an argument between Satish and Rohit at the latter's house and the other two partners were also present.
