Man held for killing lover’s husband

NEW DELHI: A man has been arrested a man for allegedly killing the

husband

of his

lover

, wrapping the body in a newspaper and dumping it a sewer in South Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. The incident happened two years ago.

The body was recovered on February 25, 2014, in a highly decomposed state. The deceased,

Kartar Singh

, had gone missing a few days earlier.

The victim’s brother, Pratap, had pointed the finger of suspicion at one Rambabu, whom he suspected to be having an affair with Singh’s wife, Kiran.

The police arrested Kiran and her sister and the duo confessed to the crime. However, Rambabu fled before the cops could move in.

It was only two years later —on September 29 —that the police, acting on a tipoff, managed to nab him after laying a trap.TNN
