DMRC begins ticket sales for Surajkund Mela

New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started selling tickets for the 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela, set to take place from Feb 7 to 23 in Surajkund. Tickets can be purchased through DMRC Momentum Saarthi 2.0 app, at all metro stations, and at designated ticket counters at the mela venue.
Following an MoU signed between DMRC and Haryana Tourism Corporation on Dec 13, this initiative aims to streamline ticketing and enhance the visitor experience. Special ticket counters have been set up at the mela gates for on-the-spot purchases.
Weekday tickets are priced at Rs 120, while weekend tickets cost Rs 180. "Offline tickets will be available at all metro stations from Feb 7 to 23, between 9am and 6pm, as well as at the mela venue. DMRC is also managing 10 parking lots for two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Additionally, one dedicated parking area has been reserved exclusively for buses to enhance accessibility for group travellers," said Anuj Dayal, principal executive director, corporate communications, DMRC.
Dayal also encouraged visitors to use the Delhi Metro Saarthi app for quick and easy ticket purchases, reducing queues and ensuring a smooth entry into the Surajkund Mela.
