Arvind Kejriwal set for a third term as the Delhi assembly election results were pouring in.
While the celebration fervour has gripped the AAP ranks and files as their party was set for a landslide victory in the Delhi assembly polls, there was another cause of joy in the Kejriwal household.
Tuesday was wife Sunita's birthday as well when
Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party
was marching towards winning over 60 seats in the 70-member assembly.
Arvind Kejriwal, on Tuesday, celebrated with wife Sunita's birthday and also of AAP taking a big lead. AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, ND Gupta, and Sushil Gupta joined them celebrating the occasion at the party office here.
The party workers were seen dancing to the drum beats. Similar celebrations were witnessed in Punjab's Amritsar and Maharashtra's Mumbai.
The counting of votes for 70 seats of the Delhi assembly began amid tight security at 8am on Tuesday. Delhi had gone to polls in a single-phase on February 8.
