Probe expands after recovery of more cars

The Hyundai i20 detonated near the Red Fort, claiming 13 lives. Investigators also recovered a red Ford Ecosport in Faridabad, while a Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the third terror vehicle, was seized from the Al-Falah University campus.

Notebooks and diaries belonging to Umar and his aide Dr Muzammil were recovered from Al-Falah University, potentially offering critical insights into the planning, coordination, and targets of the terror module.

Financial trail and IED materials found

Investigators uncovered around Rs 25 lakh in cash collected by Umar and associates, used to procure IED components, including 20 quintals of NPK fertiliser, and trace financial and digital links are under scrutiny.
