DEHRADUN: Over a 100 candidates filed their nomination papers for various assembly constituencies in Uttarakhand on Monday. Among the prominent ones to file their set of documents on the day include assembly speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal, Rekha Arya, Narayan Ram Arya, Yashpal Arya and his son Sanjeev,

, Narprabhat, Dinesh Agarwal, Pritam Singh, Umesh Sharma Kau, Sahdev Pundhir, Karan Mahra, Indira Hridayesh and Hemesh Kharkwal.

Supporters and followers of the candidates in high numbers marched up to the collectorate in all 13 districts to extend support to their leaders.

Five candidates had filed the nomination papers on January 20 and 21 candidates had filed their documents on Saturday. At the time of filing this report, the details of nominations filed in

According to records of the Election Commission, three candidates filed nominations from Uttarkashi, three from Chamoli, one from Rudraprayag, 19 from Tehri, 20 from Dehradun, five from Haridwar, 13 from Pauri, six from Pithoragarh, three from Bageshwar, nine from Almora, two from Champawat and seven from Nainital.
