is being fortified. Special protection group (SPG), led by an IG level police officer, has camped in the city. An anti-bomb squad and a dog squad inspected the rally’s venue on Tuesday. Three helicopters of the Indian Air Force, flying from the Sarsawa (Saharanpur) Air Force base, rehearsed landing at the BHEL stadium helipad, police said.

PM is slated to address four rallies in Uttarakhand starting February 10 to garner support for BJP for the February 15 assembly elections in the state. Besides addressing a rally at Haridwar’s Rishikul Ground, he will address the public in Pithoragarh on February 11 and Srinagar and Rudrapur on February 12.
