DEHRADUN

: Delhi deputy chief minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader

Manish Sisodia

launched the party's 'Navparivartan Dialogue', a virtual poll campaign, on Monday, ahead of next month's assembly election in

Uttarakhand

.

In his virtual address,

Sisodia

said that people of the state should vote for good education, health and employment, instead of other non-relevant issues.

"In the last 21 years, both BJP and Congress have failed to develop Uttarakhand as per its potential and therefore, voters should give a chance to AAP, which is a performance-centric party," said Sisodia.

The statehood movement which was fought 21 years ago for a seperate hill state only benefited the leaders of Congress and BJP, while the hands of people are still empty, the Delhi deputy CM added.

"The condition of schools and hospitals in Uttarakhand remains unchanged. The people did not get anything, while the politicians surely became rich," he said.

AAP had announced that it would contest all 70 seats and had projected Colonel

Ajay Kothiyal

(

Retd

) as the party's CM face.
