DEHRADUN: The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday provided the pending dues of Rs 100 crore to Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
Several matters related to asset distribution between UP and Uttarakhand had been pending for the last 22 years. Few months back, the ownership of Alaknanda Hotel too was handed over to Uttarakhand.
Some other issues related to canals, irrigation and transport department have been mutually resolved by both states.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed gratitude to UP CM Yogi Adityanath, for providing the remaining amount of Rs 100 crore to the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
