: Vehicular traffic on the Salem-Yercaud ghat road has been affected since Saturday evening following

landslides

due to heavy rain.Salem district administration stopped traffic between Salem and

after landslide occurred in two places on the ghat road.The damaged road was restored on Sunday morning, following which the officials allowed the vehicles through the spot. The officials also instructed the drivers to drive the vehicles at 30kmph while crossing the damaged spot.District collector
