King cobra rescued from tank

Coimbatore: Environmentalists got together on Friday to rescue a king cobra and a scorpion from an unused septic tank in a farm at Nanjundapuram.

The owner of the farm, who noticed the snake and the scorpion, had contacted snake rescuer Ameen Badusha and environmentalist Syed of Osai. “The tank was 9ft deep. Using a stick, I brought the scorpion and the six-foot long king cobra out of the tank,” Badusha said.TNN
