Doctor found dead in his house

ERODE: A 32-year-old doctor practising at the Sathyamangalam Government Hospital here was found hanging in his house on Friday. Police said inquiries revealed that Sathishkumar was depressed as he and his wife had no children. The couple got married two years ago.

Sathish, who was a native of Tirupur, had moved to Sathyamangalam a few months ago. Police said his wife Santhya went to Tirupur on Thursday and asked their neighbour to provide food to her husband in her absence. Accordingly, the neighbour’s boy carried food to Sathish’s house, where he found him hanging from a ceiling.
