NEW DELHI: The US consulate office in Chennai's Teynampet received a bomb threat on Tuesday, triggering a prompt response from security agencies.
The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and the dog squad were immediately deployed to the site to conduct thorough checks and ensure the safety of the premises.
Authorities carried out extensive checks across the consulate compound to ensure the safety of all personnel.
