Two die in road accident near Chennai

CHENNAI: A man and a woman died and another man suffered injuries when two cars collided with each other at Vembanur near

Kalpakkam

on the East Coast Road in the early hours of Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Radha Bai, 55, and Ezhil Kumar, 34, of Alappakkam near Marakkanam. Kandasamy, who suffered injuries, has been admitted to a hospital in Puducherry.

The Soonambedu police registered a case and were investigating.

Traffic on the East Coast Road was disrupted for over an hour due to the accident.
