Sastra School of Law students win moot court contest

A university press release said the moot problem on defamation had witnessed participation from over 60 law colleges, including 12

The team beat Amity Lucknow in the quarters, National Law School, Bhopal, in the semifinals and CMR College, Bangalore, in the finals.

The final was adjudged by Justice BK Rathi, former judge of Allahabad high court, Khan, Dean of Jamai Mila College of Law, and Justice Rahman, former judge of the Allahabad high court.

The students received the trophy and cash award of Rs 50,000 from senior advocate and former minister Salman Kurshid at the valedictory function.
