Chennai: A 25-year-old history-sheeter died, and his brother sustained severe injuries after a gang attacked them in Manali New Town on Friday night. Police arrested two men and are searching for the other suspects who are absconding.

Police said the gang chased them and repeatedly attacked them before fleeing the spot.
Residents called Manali New Town police, who found Prasanth dead with multiple slash injuries to the head. Naveen was admitted to Govt Stanley Medical College Hospital.
Based on the investigation, police arrested Bharathi alias Bharathiraja alias Kondakkarai Bharathi, 27, and Ezhil alias Ezhilarasan, 21.
