Tamil Nadu polls: DMDK general secretary Premallatha Vijayakant to contest from Virudhachalam
CHENNAI: DMDK general secretary Premallatha Vijayakant will contest in Virudhachalam constituency, where her husband and DMDK founder Vijayakant contested for the first time in 2006 and entered the assembly. Her son and DMDK youth wing secretary V Vijaya Prabhakaran will contest in Virudhunagar constituency, where he obtained sizeable votes in 2024 LS polls.
DMDK will contest in Virudhachalam, Virudhunagar, Salem west, Polur, Thiruttani, Omalur, Mailam, Pallavaram, Dharmapuri, Gudiyatham.
VCK will contest in Kattumannarkovil, Seyyur, Thiruporur, Arakkonam, Tindivanam, Kallakurichi, Panruti and Periyakulam.
MDMK will contest in Kadayanallur, Madurai South, Modakurichi on DMK's symbol and on its own symbol from Sirkazhi.
CPI will contest in Thalli, Thiruthuraipoondi, Srivilliputhur, Tirupur north and Bhavanisagar. CPM will contest in Kilvelur, Gandarvakottai, Padmanabhapuram, Palani and Thiruvottiyur .
KMDK will contest in Tiruchengode and Pollachi. MMK will contest in Nagapattinam and Manapparai constituencies. IUML will contest in Vaniyambadi and Papanasam.
