NEET protest : Teachers wear black badges inside classrooms

Chennai: While students of various colleges continued protests on Wednesday in light of Anita’s death, teachers from the Tamil Nadu Teachers Association wore black badges to school as a sign of protest. Condoling the death of the 17 -year-old medical aspirant, S Anita, the association demanded for NEET to be scrapped. While the Supreme Court ruling may have mandated NEET, the association expressed that the state government should ensure that no more student lives are lost due to the competitive exam
