Illicit couples love mask, Gleeden survey finds
CHENNAI: The Covid-19 pandemic kept many lovers apart. But now, according to a
Masks, sanitizers and frequent hand washing are all part of the Covid-19 safety protocol. However, few would have imagined that face masks would serve another purpose – helping people walk around in disguise. Wearing a mask hinders the ability to recognize faces, even making it impossible to identify someone at times.
Gleeden's study reveals that 72% of unfaithful partners are finally able to meet their lovers or mistresses without the fear of being caught, seen or identified by family or friends, thanks to face masks. Over 76% of the respondents agreed that face masks have become a big help indeed as they can meet their mistress or lover in daylight without dreading being recognised. Further, 58% of responders admitted that compulsory face covering is facilitating a meeting with their lovers in public places.
Meeting your lover close to your workplace has always been risky, so many people have avoided it but now when your face is covered and there is less chance of people recognising you, 47% of the respondents dare to meet near the workplace while 13%, i.e., the most daring ones, don't hesitate in meeting close to their habitation.
