Ashvita’s is was launched in October last year. “We have conducted over 20 auctions in the last six months and are now opening our permanent flagship facility in the heart of Mylapore, Chennai. This space will function as an auction house, exhibition gallery and a centre for knowledge based events,” says founder Ashvin E Rajagopalan.
Following this inaugural exhibition ‘The Savage Nobles’ at its permanent exhibition space, Ashvita’s will be curating shows that focus on a range of artistic categories including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, folk art and prints from leading Modern and Contemporary Indian Artists, says co-founder Sruti Harihara Subramanian.
