CHANDIGARH: In yet another significant development in strengthening of Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB), the bureau is all set to add 14 sniffers specially trained to sniff out the narcotics from the crowded places or from the material carried by people.

These sniffers have been formally inducted in bureau after they had the passing out parade of hard training which was provided from special dogs training centre of ITBP, Basic training centre, in Bhanu of Panchkula, near here.

HSNCB SP Nikita Khattar chaired the passing out parade of the sniffers held at the Bhanu campus on Sunday.
According to information the sniffers will be handled by main handler as well as an assistant handler and they will be deployed across the state.

According to information, these sniffers have been given the specialized training of six weeks and the entier schedule was conducted in the supervision of specialized trainers from ITBP training centre here.

Nikita Khattar informed that soon the sniffers will be available at railway stations, bus stands, of the districts in addition to the places where the drug careers or handlers could be travelling or halting.
