SUV hits 3 vehicles, 1 injured

Panchkula: An SUV hit three vehicles in the residential area of Sector-11 in the wee hours of Monday, severly injuring a pickup driver. The driver of the SUV car bearing a temporary registration number was reportedly in an inebriated state while driving.As per the local residents, they heard a louse noise of vehicles colliding near their house around 5.30am, following which they came outside and saw that a Toyota Legender SUV driven by a youth had rammed into a Mahindra Bolero pickup truck ferrying milk products, in the back lane of Sector-11 market in the residential area. The pickup truck had overturned on a parked MG Astor car on the roadside. The SUV also damaged a Kia Seltos car parked outside a house. Cops said: “The accused will be arrested soon. We are waiting to record the statement of the pickup driver who is undergoing treatment.” tnn
