‘Sukhbir’s opposition gimmickry’

Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt ) senior vice-president Justice Nirmal Singh (retired) said that SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal’s announcement to contest HSGMC elections had proved that his earlier opposition to HSGMC’s formation was just a political gimmick. “Sukhbir should accept that Sikhs of Haryana have already rejected his appeal. The Sikh community is sensible and knows Badal strongly opposed the formation of HSGMC. But now he is announcing to contest the elections, which shows his dual character,” said the former judge, who had earlier also remained a SAD MLA from Bassi Pathana.
