arrested national secretary of BJP youth wing, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga from his Delhi residence early Friday morning. He will be produced in Mohali court. FIR was registered against Bagga at Cyber Crime Cell at phase IV Mohali.

On March 30, Tajinder Bagga’s statement was played on TV channel during coverage of the protest outside CM Kejriwal’s house. In the statement, Bagga said, “The way biggest genocide in India’s history after independence was mocked in Delhi assembly, and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal claimed the story of Kashmiri Pandit’s genocide on which the movie [The Kashmir Files] was based on was a lie, I feel the 100 crore Hindus will never forgive him.”

Thereafter, Punjab Police had registered an FIR against Bagga for his criticism of Arvind Kejriwal after the Delhi CM mocked ‘The Kashmir Files’ movie during the budget session of the Delhi assembly calling it a jhoothi film. The film depicts the sufferings of the Kashmiri Hindus during the genocide they suffered in Kashmir in late 1980s and early 1990s.

On the April 2, National Secretary of BJP youth wing, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga had revealed that Punjab Police had reached his house in Delhi to arrest him. His arrest has triggered criticism by many BJP leaders who started tweeting and condemning the act terming Kejriwal misusing Punjab Police power.
