In its second meeting on September 7, the nine-member committee stated that the three ongoing projects—Girls’ Hostel Number 10, Type-I flats for teachers, and the renovation of houses for the Class-C employees—be inspected on priority. It decided to meet as soon as the sub-committee would file its report.
It also decided to write to the chairpersons, directors, and wardens concerned to seek their feedback on the flaws in all construction over the past 16 years. It wants the executive engineer’s office to receive this response that the heads of many teaching departments have filed.
