Midday meal workers not paid for last 6 months in Haryana

JIND: Having not got their dues for the last six months, the midday meal workers in Haryana have started a protest against the government. We have not been paid honorarium for the last six months, alleged the protesting workers.

There are 29,589 midday meal workers in Haryana, who get an honorarium of Rs 7,000 per month. We are being forced to protest, they said, adding that they would hold a one-day statewide protest on April 28.
