Mayor speaks during urban plan webinar

Chandigarh: Chandigarh mayor Anup Gupta on Wednesday represented the city’s citizen centric awareness and engagement ecosystem during a webinar on implementation strategies based on various Budget announcements for FY 2023-2024.The webinar was organized on the subject of “Urban Planning, Development and Sanitation” led by MoHUA and MoEF&CC. The inaugural session was graced by the Prime Minister. During the event, the mayor spoke about segregation at source, on-site wet waste composting and management of horticulture waste. Initiatives taken by Chandigarh were very much appreciated by the session moderator, said a source.
