Hisar: Man gets life term for killing wife, daughter

HISAR: A Hisar court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for stabbing his wife and daughter to death about two-and-a-half years ago. The court of additional sessions judge Amit Sehrawat also imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on the convict Shravan Kumar, a resident of Dobhi village of Hisar.

On December 21, 2019, the Azad Nagar police station had registered a case of murder against Shravan on the complaint of Vinod Kumar, a resident of Amar Enclave.

In the complaint to the police, Vinod Kumar had said, “On December 21, 2019, I saw Shravan attacking his wife Sarla and daughter Pooja with a sharp-edged weapon.” The blood-soaked bodies of Sarla and Pooja were lying on the floor, he said.
