Man caught with pistol in Dhanas

CHANDIGARH: Police have arrested a man after a country-made pistol and two live cartridges were allegedly recovered from him in Dhanas.

The victim has been identified as Abhishek (22) of Dhanas. A police party was on patrolling duty near EWS colony, Dhanas, when they received a secret information that the accused was roaming in the area with an illegal weapon. Cops caught him from near the fish market in Dhanas. A court remanded him in police custody.
