JJP keen on Bhiwani, Hisar seats in LS polls

Rohtak: At a time when the BJP is claiming that it would contest all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana on its own, coalition partner JJP’s founder Ajay Singh Chautala on Saturday said they would still stake a claim to contesting from Bhiwani and Hisar parliamentary seats in an alliance.The BJP’s state leaders, on multiple occasions, have clarified that they would contest independently on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state, without ally the Jannayak Janta Party.Chautala, father of deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala, reached Bhiwani to invite party workers for a party rally on September 17. He said they were part of the NDA coalition and would contest the next parliamentary elections in the state together with the saffron party.He said for the parliamentary polls, the JJP would stake claim to the two Lok Sabha constituencies. He said JJP would also try their luck on 20-25 assembly seats.Ajay had recently expressed his desire to contest from Bhiwani parliamentary seat.
