Tikait said apart from the three

farm laws

, the central government might make agreements on milk with several countries to allow them to supply milk in India, which will reduce the production of milk in the country. “Initially, these countries would supply milk to India from abroad even at Rs 20 per litre, which will ruin our wellestablished dairy system. But after some years, they will sell their milk even at Rs 300 per litre,” Tikait said, while addressing a press conference in Yamunanagar, accompanied by BKU Haryana state president Rattan Mann and Yamunanagar district president Subhash Gurjar.

“The government is also likely to introduce a new ‘seed law’ to give benefits to big companies,” said Tikait.

Talking about the ongoing protest and increasing cases of Covid-19 in the country, Tikait said, “Farmers are ready to follow Covid-19 related guidelines issued by the government to prevent the spread, but protests will continue.

Farmers

will not return home until three black farm laws are repealed and a law giving guarantee of minimum support price is made.”

Targeting the ruling Haryana government, Tikait said, “The public will not forgive Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar as Delhi-Jalandhar national highway was barricaded in his rule and he ordered the lathicharge to stop Punjab farmers from moving towards Delhi borders”
