Cyclist dies after being hit by speeding truck

Chandigarh: In a case of hit and run, an unidentified cyclist died after being hit by a speeding truck near Colony no 4 on Tuesday night. Police said the cyclist is yet to be identified. Passersby saw the truck speeding away from the spot after hitting the cyclist. The victim was rushed to hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police are trying to trace the truck which hit the cyclist.A case has been registered at the Industrial Area police station.
