Candidates named for PUTA poll

patiala: the teachers united front led by prof uc singh has announced its candidates for the punjabi university teachers association (puta) elections scheduled to be held on august 28.the ruling group has fielded prof kc singhal for the post of president, dr balwinder singh for vice-president, narinder singh atri for secretary and baldev singh sidhu for joint secretary.ks sandhu, jaswinder singh, ranjit singh ghuman and baldev singh cheema have been fielded for executive members of puta. the rival group has nominated prof dalbir singh dhillon for president, dr manjit singh for vice-president.
