KURUKSHETRA: Bhupinder Singh Assandh has been once again elected as president of the ad-hoc panel of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC), following an election process at the office of deputy commissioner (DC) of Kurukshetra district on Wednesday.

Forty government nominated members of HSGMC reached Kurukshetra DC Sushil Sarwan’s office, where election was held for the seat of HSGMC president and executive committee. Assandh was elected president of HSGMC unanimously for another consecutive term.

Sudarshan Singh Sehgal from Ambala was elected as senior vice president, Kurukshetra’s Bibi Ravinder Kaur Ajrana as junior vice president, Sukhwinder Singh Mandebar as general secretary, Gulab Singh Munak as joint secretary. Baljit Singh Daduwal, Paramjit Singh Makkar, Jagsir Singh Mangeana, Tarwinderpal Singh, Bibi Parminder Kaur, Gurprasad Singh were elected as HSGMC executive members.

After the completion of the election process, all the elected members led by Assandh visited Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chhevin in Kurukshetra, headquarter of HSGMC, to pay obeisance.

Assandh urged all the office-bearers and members of executive to work in the interest of the Sikh community and the organisation.
