JIND: A 15-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped for 20 days by three men in Jind, Haryana, the police reported on Thursday. The minor was rescued and the accused have been arrested.
The incident came to light when the girl's father filed a complaint after she went missing 20 days ago. The police registered a case of kidnapping against unknown individuals and identified the three men during the investigation.
Two of the accused are from the victim's village, while the third is from Uttar Pradesh.
The girl stated that she was raped by the three men after being abducted. The accused have been charged under the POCSO Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for kidnapping and rape.
