Union minister asks scientists to conduct research on Japanese Encephalitis virus

BHUBANESWAR: Union science and technology minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Friday visited the

Institute of Life Sciences

(ILS) here and advised scientists and research scholars to do research on

Japanese Encephalitis

virus, which has claimed 51 lives in

Malkangiri

district since September 8. "His ministry will provide funds for it," he said during an interaction with the scientists of the institution. ILS director Dr B P
