Man arrested for brother’s murder

Kendrapada: A 35-year-old man, Basant Sahoo, was arrested for allegedly killing his younger brother over a property dispute in Jajpur district on Monday and staging it as suicide. The deceased, Pradeep Sahoo (32) of Nuapatna village under Panikoili police limits, was initially believed to have died by hanging from a mango tree on May 20 night. However, the postmortem report confirmed death due to strangulation, prompting police to treat it as a case of fratricide.
