Brown sugar worth ₹3 lakh seized, 2 peddlers arrested

Berhampur: Police on Tuesday arrested two drug peddlers in Berhampur and seized over 28 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 3 lakh from them. The accused were identified as Ranjan Das (35) and Ruturanjan Nimai (29) of Dhanmera Sahi, Berhampur. Besides the brown sugar, a mobile phone, a polythene bag containing 10 small pieces of paper along with a tiny spoon were seized from the accused, said police.
