BHUBANESWAR: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Saturday reconstituted its media team.
Party president Naveen Patnaik appointed five national spokespersons, 16 spokespersons, nine panelists and two media coordinators. Besides, he appointed chairpersons of four boards/corporations.
Prasanna Acharya, Pinaki Mishra, Sarmistha Sethi, Sasmit Patra and Manas Ranjan Mangaraj have been appointed as national spokespersons. Lenin Mohanty and Madhusmita Nayak are the new media coordinators.
Mahendra Badhei, who has recently joined BJD after quitting OAS officer job, was appointed as chairman of the State Warehousing Corporation, while Sk Nizamuddin became new chairman of Wakf Board.
Subash Chandra Patra was appointed as chairman of Odisha Pisciculture Development Corporation while Kalyani Nayak became the new chairperson of the State Social Welfare Board.
The BJD supremo has also appointed 27 advisors to different government organisations across the state.
