Bhopal: Youth takes obscene screenshots of classmate during video call, shares them with friend

BHOPAL: A youth allegedly took obscene screenshots of a 21-year-old classmate during a video call and shared them with his friend, who sent it to the survivor’s family members in a bid to take revenge after a dispute with the youth. The case was reported at Bajaria police station on Thursday and the prime accused was arrested.

Investigating Officer SI Ankit Baghel said that the survivor, a resident of Bajaria, studies at an institute in Govindpura.

At the institute, she came in contact with the accused, a resident of Khajuri.

The accused befriended her and started chatting with her online. During a video call he took some screenshots of the survivor around a year ago.

The SI said that sometime later, when the survivor stopped talking to the accused over some issue, he shared the photos with his friend, who studies with them.
