Bank manager dies after car plunges into river in Guna

Bhopal: A 35-year-old bank manager died after his car fell into the Bhainsua River in Chanchoda, Guna.
Manoj Vishwakarma, a resident of Madhusudangarh, left the District Cooperative Bank on Wednesday around 6:30 pm after dropping off a friend at a bus stand in Binaganj. He spoke to his wife at 8 pm and informed her that he was on his way home. When he failed to arrive later that night, his family became concerned and attempted to call him, only to find his phone switched off.
After searching throughout the night, they reported him missing to the Chanchoda police on Thursday morning. Police began their investigation and soon received information that Manoj's car had been found in the river. With the help of local villagers, authorities retrieved his body from the vehicle, which showed signs of a collision, indicating it likely hit a tree before plunging into the water.
The car was confirmed to belong to Manoj, and the police have initiated an investigation into the incident. His body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
