Takeoff preps on for stunning Air Force display in Bhopal

Bhopal: Indian Air Force began its 91st anniversary celebration with the band performances in Bhopal on Friday. The bravery and might of the Air Force will be visible on September 30 during the air show at Upper Lake.Around 60-70 fighter planes like Sukhoi, Mirage and others will show their strength. Before that, band performances will be in different places across the state capital for 6 days.The preparations for the air show in Bhopal are in full swing. As per the schedule, practice will be on September 26 and 27, while full rehearsal is scheduled for September 28. September 29 will be a rest day while the main event is scheduled for September 30. The rehearsal and event will be organised from 9 am. Sky over the Upper Lake has been chosen to organize the air show and fly-past.Officials said that if weather does not permit flying on September 30, the show will be postponed for a day. “It will be conducted on October 1 if weather is inclement,” said an official requesting not to be named.Air Force officials have started the necessary arrangements to conduct the air show. “It is confirmed that Chinook and Suryakiran will participate in the air show,” sources said.Besides, it is expected that around 60-70 fighter jets will be seen performing stunts simultaneously. Fighter planes will take flight from the designated place, reach Bhopal and go back. The final rehearsal of the air show will be held on September 28.No ticket will be charged to watch the Air Force air show. Common people will be able to see this view at the Upper Lake. In this air show, fighter planes will take off from different airbases and reach Bhopal.Under the arrangements made by the administration for the common people to watch the air show, the common people will be able to watch it by stopping at the Boat Club located on VIP Road on a free entry. VIP entry will not be given to the general public. Only cabinet members and guests selected by the Air Force will be able to sit there.There will also be live commentary of the air show where people will be informed about where the fighter jets would come from, its make and specialty.

Pakistan Air Force carries out flying exercises in China, Egypt

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has conducted two large-scale flying exercises in China and Egypt, showcasing its capabilities as a formidable air force. The exercises, named Shaheen-X and Bright Star, involved the participation of PAF's fighter aircraft, combat pilots, air defense controllers, and technical ground crew. The annual Shaheen-X exercise, held alternately between China and Pakistan since 2011, aims to enhance operational experience and knowledge exchange.
