BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured the people that maximum number of people will be vaccinated in a bid to prevent the third Corona wave. Addressing dignitaries, including religious leaders, on Saturday, the CM said that hospital resources are being boosted to cope with the third wave.
Members were informed about the timely availability of vaccine in remote districts like Sidhi and Singrauli.
The target is that on June 21, 14 lakh vaccines will be available in the state.
Additional chief secretary of health Mohammad Suleman said that after Chouhan's appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the supply of vaccine has increased in the state.
For the next 10 days, the state will be getting 50 lakh vaccines.
This is a big opportunity for the state. There are 11 doses in one vial, a vial provides for vaccination of 10 persons. Ensure that 11 people are vaccinated with one vial, he said. Campaign will continue even after June 21.
Vaccination centres will be relocated from wards after the vaccination is completed”, he said.
