Bhopal airport consults city to become symbol of its identity

Bhopal: The Airport Advisory Committee meeting for Raja Bhoj Airport's development was convened at the airport's New Technical Block on Friday, chaired by Bhopal MP Alok Sharma. The gathering included committee members, administration officials, and senior departmental representatives.Committee member Manoj Singh 'Meek' presented a comprehensive report to the Airport Director, outlining suggestions and solutions for enhancing passenger amenities and overall airport development. The report incorporated public feedback collected recently."Raja Bhoj Airport is not just an airport but a symbol of the identity of our Bhopal. The views and suggestions of the citizens presented in this meeting will form the basis of our development. I believe that with the participation of every citizen of the city, we can get this airport recognition not only at the national but also international level. This meeting is a big step towards our joint efforts," said Meek.During the two-hour session, MP Alok Sharma stressed the importance of outcome-based operations and instructed fortnightly monitoring of suggestions. He directed the Airport Director Ramjee Awasthi to conduct reviews every fifteen days and submit implementation status reports.
