A day to remember: Make India shine, PM tells children on train

Bhopal: For dozens of school students, the inauguration of Vande Bharat trains at Rani Kamlapati station on Tuesday was a day never to be forgotten. Interacting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, almost one-on-one, left them awestruck. After reaching the station, PM Modi went straight to meet the students travelling on the Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat. Many of them had brought paintings and poems on the occasion. During his interaction with the kids, the PM advised the students to do yoga regularly and “make India shine by achieving goals in various fields”. Around 376 students from over 20 city schools travelled in Vande Bharat. Class 11 student Sanya Ahmed of Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, presented a painting to PM Modi. He liked it so much that he took it along. The interaction with PM Modi has become one of the best moments of her life, she said.“I had the privilege to be in the presence of the Prime Minister of India, a figure radiating serenity and purity. He graciously accepted the painting I offered, and upon my request, he granted me permission to recite my poem,” Sanya said. She added, “He even inquired about my school, class and subject, leaving me filled with pride for this cherished moment.”“I recited a poem during the interaction with PM Modi. He said he liked the poem and wished me luck. It was an amazing experience to meet such a great personality. I cannot forget my interaction with him. He told me that the Vande Bharat Express has been launched to make train journeys best for every citizen,” said class 12 student Sneha Batav, IES Public School.Students of Carmel Convent Sr Secondary School, BHEL also travelled on the inaugural run of Vande Bharat. “It was indeed an honour for us and a great experience,” said Carmel Convent captain Asmi Raghuvanshi of class 12. Another student, Priyanshi Mewade of class 11, said: “It was a fantastic journey. The 360-degree movable chair a different look of the train from both inside and outside is best part of Vande Bharat train. I could not meet PM Narendra Modi but I will try next time,” said Priyanshi, a student of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar.
