9-year-old girl molested by neighbour in Bag Sewania locality

Bhopal: A 9-year-old girl was reportedly molested by a neighbour as she was returning home from her tuition class in the Bag Sewania locality, police said on Saturday. The incident took place on August 6, but was reported later as the survivor’s family had gone outstation after the incident. They were terrified to lodge a complaint against the accused. SHO Bag Sewania Amit Soni said that the survivor’s mother alleged in her complaint that on August 6, around 12.30pm, when her 9-year-old daughter was returning home from tuition class, the accused Pramod Bhargava, aged above 50 years, molested her on the way. The girl returned home and informed her mother about the incident. But the family was terrified to lodge a complaint against the accused. They went to the outstation and reported the matter to police on Friday. A case was registered, and further investigations were on.
