The victim M Krishnappa, a native of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, was shifted to private hospital after his coworker Palaniswamy allegedly kicked on his stomach and below abdomen parts on the night of October 11.

The supervisor had distributed weekly salary to workers including Krishnappa and Palaniswamy, police said.
"Krishnappa wanted some advance money and seeing Krishnappa asking, Palaniswamy also forced the supervisor to give the advance to him. However, supervisor said he wont give anyone as money was short," police said. Krishnappa was angry on Palaniswamy thinking had not Palaniswamy intervened, he would have got some advance money. "Both fought over the same issue and at one stage, Palaniswamy kicked on Krishnappa's stomach and below abdomen part. Krishnappa fell unconscious and was later shifted to a private nursing home in Ullala," police said. Krishnappa is survived by wife and two sons.
Jnanabharathi police have arrested Palaniswamy on murder charges.
