Investment con: Bengaluru woman loses Rs 2.9 lakh in 2 days

BENGALURU : A 35-year-old homemaker from Sadashivanagar has filed a police complaint against miscreants for cheating her of Rs 2. 9 lakh on the pretext of getting higher rate of interest on online investments.


The woman said the suspects got intouch with her through WhatsApp, made her invest in different intervals and then cheated her of the money in two days.

“I was asked to trade on https:// wazirx 2023. com and assured of 40% profit,” she said.
